Unfortunately, I am allergic to Neosporin so when I applied it to the wound, it turned yellow and started getting worse.
After applying Neosporin, the pain would last up to 6 hours and I wouldn't be able to fall asleep until those approximate 6 hours past.

Applying bandages made the bleeding worse because it would rub against the abrasion. Overall, there was blood seeping through (at different rates) for about six hours.
In the end though, I have to say, I got really lucky:
I didn't slide off the curb and go over the mountain,

I didn't break any bones, and
